Robert Rothschild Roasted Pineapple and Habanero Glaze and Finishing Sauce

Every now and then, a prepared product comes along that tastes so good, it makes no sense to make it myself from scratch.  This intensely flavorful and beautiful sauce of roasted vegetables, pineapple, and a hint of mango and spice is perfect right out of the bottle!       

I serve it as a condiment with Crab Cakes or Southwestern Chicken Cakes.  Spoon it over grilled fish, particularly halibut, for the last few minutes of cooking time.  Marinate chicken with it before grilling and serve more on the side.  It is especially yummy on fish tacos.  For a quick appetizer, top crostini with goat cheese and some of the salsa.  For a simple side dish, stir it into steamed rice.
